Glass Trailer Coming Soon, Watch The Teaser Now

The first teaser for M. Night Shyamalan's next film, Glass, has come online--but there isn't much to go on. The very brief video doesn't show much in the way of actual footage but it does provide some mysterious dialogue and sequences that may be enough to get you hyped. And the good news? The full trailer is coming this Friday to kick off San Diego Comic-Con.

Glass is a sequel of sorts to Shyamalan's 2016 movie Split, which features James McAvoy as a person with more than 20 different personalities. It was revealed at the end of that film that Split takes place in the same universe as Shyamalan's 2000 film Unbreakable starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson. In Glass, the characters played by Willis and Jackson will team up to hunt down McAvoy's character, Crumb, which is an iteration of his personality with superhuman powers called the Beast.

It's going to be a big week for Glass, as Shyamalan and the cast will attend a panel at San Diego Comic-Con's massive Hall 5 on July 20. There will be some kind of "surprise" for this panel, though it remains to be seen what that is. Shyamalan is pretty amped up about this.

In addition to a cool-looking poster, some striking images from Glass have been released, showcasing the three main characters. The movie also stars Sarah Paulson, Anya Taylor Joy, and Charlayne Woodard. The film opens on January 18, 2019.
